Help for the Homeless and Nearly Homeless

Earlier this month, the State of Florida received nearly $85 million from the federal CARES program, the program aimed at relieving the impact of the COVID pandemic and resulting shutdowns. This Emergency Solutions grant targets the homeless, especially those who are newly homeless or on the verge of losing their shelter due to financial difficulties caused by the virus's impact. It will be administered by Florida's Department of Children and Families.
